Our Mission
Preserving History
The mission of the Boyd Tavern Foundation is to contribute to the culture and historic environment of Southside Virginia through the restoration, maintenance, and preservation of the Boyd Tavern as a historic landmark and museum.
The Boyd Tavern was built in the 18th century and has served as a hub for social and political activity in Boydton for over 200 years. Our goal is to keep the legacy of this important landmark alive for generations to come.
